    Hard drive donor board

    Anybody have any luck reviving a WD hard drive using a donor circuit board? This drive no longer powers up, and I've just got to keep my fingers in the game, so I thought I'd play with this over my holiday break. the Antec power supply in that machine took out the drive and the BD drive also. BD powers up but no longer functions.

    I have in the past. But the donor board has to be the same, right down to the revision number, for it to work.
